The helmet connection (24) is fitted in the shell (17) of the helmet via a pivot (22) perpendicular to the side sections (8) of said shell (17), recessed on the inside (29) of the helmet (2) or against an outer side of the shell (17) and/or arranged to be adjustable for height towards the pivot (22) in relation to the outer side and designed to be elastically deformable perpendicularly to the flat sides forming the surfaces (44).
