An ultrasonic motor has a vibrating body which is made of an elastic material and which has at least two ultrasonic generator elements for generating acoustic travelling waves in the vibrating body, and also a rotor. The rotor is in frictional contact under pressure with a surface region of the vibrating body. Provision is made for the ultrasonic generating elements to be held positively by clamping forces on the vibrating body. IMAGE
