Curable compositions based on epoxy resins or mixtures of epoxy resins and polyisocyanates which contain a compound of the formula 1: IMAGE in which R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each, independently of one another, hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl or halogen, and R2 together with R3 and R5 together with R6 and R8 together with R9 may in addition in each case also represent a benzene ring fused to this point. The compositions exhibit, inter alia, high reactivity at the same time as a long shelf live.
