The subject of the application is a device in which it is possible from two numbers (r1, r2) for link functions of the input variables, two control bits (nbl, nbr), a number (ne0), a lower linguistic value of the input variables, one value each (me0, me1) of the link functions of the lower and an upper linguistic value of the input variables, to form a hit signal (hit) and a value (me) of a link function of a linguistic value of the input variables resulting from the condition section, in which the condition section of the line concerned may also contain negated linguistic values or OR-linked linguistic values of the input variables (EV, EV'). The advantage thus obtained, especially with extensive linguistic protocols, lies in the reduced storage space and improved processing speed as against prior-art fuzzy logic processors.
