The connecting system has profiled sealing strips (32) fixed in the side rails (10) and set continuously inside the network formed by rails to be placed on the supporting ground. The sealing strips fixed in the cross rails (12) correspond to the relevant plate width. The profiled strips consist of elastic material such as rubber or rubber-like plastics and can be pressed together by exerting pressure. The side rails are adjustable in slope relative to the associated long rails (8). The sealing strips have a double T-shaped cross-section with lower fixing attachment for fitting in a web strip (34) of the side rail or cross rail.
