The present invention relates to a method for producing a superoxide dismutase (SOD) which is an enzyme for removing active oxygen in the human body by cultivating an edible microorganism in a flowerpot (pollen end) . The crushed pollen and pollen extract of the SOD enzyme-containing flowerpot obtained according to the production method of the present invention shows a significantly increased SOD enzyme activity as compared with that produced without treatment such as microbial fermentation.
