Waste Ni anode produced from the electric plating plant is treated in a nickle chloride solution by three step treatments ; pretreatment step - removing the impurity of surface ; processing step - increasing specific surface area ; dissolution step -dissolving at 20-80 deg.C in 10-35wt% HCl sol. This sol. is fitered to remove the non-dissolving component and is sent to a purification vessel. In condition of PH 2-5, Fe and Cr ion is converted to the sludge by aeration. After removing sludge, Ni powder is input to this solution to get rid of heavy metals. This treated nickel chloride is heated and concentrated to become the high purity nickel chloride.
