The present invention relates to an adhesive tape comprising a carrier film sandwiched between two layers of a fully imidized thermoplastic polyimide siloxane adhesive. The tape is prepared by dissolving fully imidized thermoplastic polyimide siloxane adhesive in a solvent to form a solution, coating the solution on both sides of the carrier film, and then evaporating the solvent.
