GAS ENERGY RECOVERY PLANT ON UNDERGROUND GAS STORAGE

FIELD: gas industry. SUBSTANCE: plant has main and auxiliary power units. Main power unit functions to recover potential energy of compressed gas from underground storage by means of turbo-expander with shaft-mounted synchronous generator and frequency changer. Auxiliary power unit serves to recover gas heat from underground storage and ambient atmosphere by means of auxiliary turbine inserted in closed coolant circulating loop with auxiliary synchronous generator and frequency changer. Gas take-off from underground storage is controlled by frequency changers of main units which are controlled by signal coming from flow regulator. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 4 dwg
