FIELD: fire extinguishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: method for extinguishing fires on flows of gas, oil and gas-oil wells includes supply into flame jet of liquid nitrogen and powder compound. In this event, liquid nitrogen is supplied to under edge of flame front with flow rate of 1 kg/cu.m of gas up to moment of maximum lift of front and then, powder compound is introduced into the indicated zone at the rate of 4-12 kg per million cubic meters of gas per day of flow. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
