FIELD: analytical biochemistry, medicinal microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the preparing cell-free extract from bacteria of genus Yersinia (concentration is 15•1010-21•1010 cells per 1 ml distilled water) mixed with reaction mixture at the ratio 1:9. Reaction mixture is prepared with 0.4M tris-HCl buffer, pH 7.2, containing 0.012 mole/l glucose-6-phosphate, 0.009 mole/l oxidized NADP and 0.02 mole/l MgCl2. Mixture is incubated at 36-37 C for 110-120 min, 10-20 mcl incubation mixture is taken off, applied on the paper Whatman N 1, dried at the room temperature and the presence of formed reduced NADP is detected visually by fluorescence in UV-light. EFFECT: improved method of enzyme assay. 2 tbl
