摘要
FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the selection of the strain Streptomyces kurssanovii which able to synthesize chitinase and N-acetyl-D-glucose aminidase showing high activity. Strain is deposited in Collection "ИБФМ РАН" at number VKM Ac-1504 D. Morphology of strain was studied on medium with oat agar. Strain shows good developed mycelium which is subdivided for substrate and air ones. Colonies are small, 3-7 mm in diameter. Strain shows the natural variability. On an oat agar the air mycelium is light-grey, velvety; substrate mycelium is yellow-brown, forms soluble pigment of brown color. On potato agar the air mycelium is grey, velvety, streak is grey-brown, shrinkle; substrate mycelium is brown, medium is colorless. Strain assimilates glucose, galactose, sucrose, fructose, arabinose, raffinose and xylose but does not assimilates inositol, mannitol, rhamnose and salicin. Antibacterial activity is absent. Strain is aerobe. Optimal temperature for growth is 30-33 C. Strain grows at the broad range of pH - from 5.0 to 8.5, optimum pH at 6.0-6.4. Chitinase and N-acetyl-D-glucose aminidase activities in cultural fluid are 25-27 and 25.2-27.0 U, respectively. EFFECT: selection of strain indicated above, high activity of enzymes.
