METHOD FOR WORKING THICK STEEPLY DIPPING COAL SEAMS

FIELD: coal mining. SUBSTANCE: method for working thick steeply dipping coal seams includes opening and development of the mining field by crosscuts, subdividing a level into sublevels by cutting drifts. When working installation sublevel in the layer near ground, and seam roof, coal is broken hydraulically by bands along direction of strata with laying flexible floor and filling the worked out space with cast hardening backfill. Cutting drift is worked over not removed strata portion. Flexible floor is put on drift ground. Ends of it are connected to floor ends installed in bands. Then coal is excavated from the cutting drift by hydraulic monitor. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 cl, 10 dwg
