FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine-tool comprises tool spindle provided with a shaver as a conical gear wheel that is actuated by an electric motor through a gear box and engages the wheel to be machined without a gap. The wheel is mounted on the shaft of a mandrel at crossed axles. The unit for intermittent feeding of a blank is a run screw with a nut interacting with the mandrel shaft of the wheel to be machined through a kinematic link and shaft provided with a ratchet and cam for permitting control of the intermittent feeding of the wheel to be machined by one cycle though a jaw with a dog. The rotation unit of the machine-tool is made up as a kinematic link with a stop on the latter gear wheel interacting with an end switch when the shaver turns by the number of revolution that is equal or multiple to the number of teeth of the wheel to be machined. The unit for reversing rotation of the machine-tool is coupled with the tool spindle. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
