FIELD: radio electronics; superconductor engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing of source components of compound, their synthesis, cooling crushing, molding, sintering, thermal treatment of sintered material in oxygen-carrying atmosphere (oxygen flow), and cooling. Used as zirconium-containing dope is barium carbonate and zirconium dioxide mixture with molar proportion of 1:1 injected in material while mixing source components so as to obtain (1-x)YBa2Cu3O7-xBaZrO3, compound, where x=0.02-0.08; synthesis is carried out at 900-920 C of 17-29 h with intermediate cooling, crushing, and sintering; then it is sintered at 1000-1030 C for 1-3 h and subjected to heat treatment in oxygen atmosphere using the following mode of treatment: heating to 800 C, exposure for 2 h, cooling to 500 C, exposure for 3 h, cooling down together with turned-off furnace.
