METHOD FOR UTILIZATION OF PECTICIDE TYRAM BEING FORBIDDEN FOR USAGE

FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: tyram is dissolved in suitable solvent (chloroform and acetone being preferred), thus obtained solution is filtered. Solvent is evaporated till precipitate of tetramethyl thiuram disulfide is formed. Said precipitate is washed on filter with the help of cooled organic solvent and then it is dried. Then thus isolated tetramethyl thiuram disulfide is treated with aqueous solution of sodium cyanide or potassium cyanide. EFFECT: creates novel method for utilization and processing of pesticide.
