FIELD: application of metal coatings, particular, from solutions of nickel phosphate to internal surfaces of tanks and pipeline systems. SUBSTANCE: method for application of coating to internal surfaces of tanks and pipeline systems, in which tank 1, first, is filled with liquid 3 which consists of water to which acid is added. Oxide layer is removed from the internal surface by heating and provision of circulation of liquid 3 through filter 4. Liquid 3 is neutralized by addition of alkali 4. Approximately 1/5 of liquid is drained, and tank is filled with concentrated metal-containing solution 15. Temperature, acidity and concentration of metal in liquid 3 are maintained close to constant by heating, and supply of acid 10 or alkali 12 and concentrated metal-containing solution 15. For mixing, supplied through blowing pipe 5 is air or steam, and excessive liquid or gas are removed through other pipe 16. When a coating of the required thickness is formed on the internal surface of tank 1, the process is discontinued, liquid 3 is cooled and drained. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
