BLANK FOR MAKING CLAD SHEETS BY ROLLING AND METHOD FOR ROLLING OF CLAD SHEETS

FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: blank is comprised of a base with contact areas having convex cylindrical surfaces and convex entry areas, and clad layers which encompass the contact areas. The cross section of the base may have the form of a circle with the curvature radius of cylindrical surfaces being equal to 1.0 of the curvature radius of the entry areas and the shape of the ellipse over 1.0 and to 2.8 of the curvature radius of the entry areas. The heated blank is rolled in several steps. On the first step reduction is changed on the length of 0 to 35-42% from the blank entry into the rolls and up to 0 at its exit from the rolls to its center until the surface of contact areas becomes flat. The rolling direction is perpendicular to the generatrices of convex cylindrical surfaces. EFFECT: quality of clad sheets improved by better connection of clad layers with the base during rolling of alloys which form oxide films preventing bonding of layers. 1 cl, 2 dwg
