The invention concerns a stabiliser mixture containing: (a) one or more chromane derivatives of general formula (I), in which R1 is a group of formula (i) as shown in which Z represents C7-C30 alkyl, -CH2CH2-S-(C1-C30-alkyl) or a group of formula (ii) as shown; and (b) an inert organic solvent for the formula (I) chromane derivatives chosen from the group containing aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons or halogenated hydrocarbons, silicone oils and plant and animal fatty oils. The weight ratio of components (a) and (b) is 99:1-1:99.
