Motor vehicle with external speed display for high-speed motor-way sections

The vehicle has a tachometer (G) measuring the vehicle speed with a speed indicator (T2) visible outside the vehicle whilst a second speed indicator (T1) can be read by the driver. External indication can be achieved by an optical display on the vehicle panel or window or by a display incorporated in the vehicle number plate. A receiver activated by an external signal can be fitted communicating with roadside transmitters to include the permitted speed limit also to be indicated.
