The single double bogie for rail vehicles has two single axle wheel sets (1,3) combined by the self steering Scheffel principle. Pref. each wheel axle (1) is supported with little or no longitudinal or transverse free play in a frame (3). The two frames are coupled by two diagonally arranged Scheffel rods (7).
