The hydraulic system has a housing (12) with a wall (12a). The outside (12a') of the wall facing the valve block (14) carries at least one magnet coil (20) for the solenoid valves in the block. Wall and coil form an independent modular subunit. The connection is via an electrically insulating material, and the whole may be cast to form a single unit. The electrical connections (34) pass through the housing wall. The wall consists of a material with high heat conductivity. The inner face (12a") of the wall away from the valve block is formed as the cooling surface of an electronic part (24), which emits lost heat.
