Method of forming artificially aged, weather eroded concrete surfaces

The method involves different surface finish retarders being overlapped or compressed into the mould prior to concrete casting. Immediately after mould removal, the surface is blasted with a controllable high pressure jet of water, and/or sand and/or air. In this way very different, sharply defined erosion depths are formed in the surface. Pref. different concrete mixtures are cast into the mould with different depths, time offsets, colour conditions.
