Hollow prismatic transparent toy building blocks for use by young children

The block is built up from a small prismatic box (1) inside which a folded sheet (4) with pictures can be placed. The box is closed with a cover (3) which incorporates three leaf springs (11) which hold the cover on by friction. The bottom of the box and the cover have a hole (10) in which a plug can be placed on which the next block can be mounted. Pictures in the boxes can be completed by rotating the blocks or the plugs. Alternatively the blocks can be made in one piece with dovetail section grooves on the sides on which plates with the pictures can be mounted.
