PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize a driving mechanism in the automatic switching device by providing an oscillating actuator inside a piston, of which tip of the piston rod is fixed in the center of a movable plate, of a fluid pressure cylinder, and making its output shaft a piston rod of a compound actuator. CONSTITUTION:In a fluid pressure cylinder 22, where the pore most end of a piston rod 27 is fixed to the center of a movable plate 16, of a compound actuator 21 constituting a driving part 2, an oscillating actuator 41 is provided inside a piston 26 which is allowed only to slide and not to rotate, and its output shaft 43 is defined as the piston rod 27. When a pressure fluid is fed to the fluid pressure cylinder 22, the movable plate 16 is rectilinearly reciprocated to a fixed plate 10, and when the pressure fluid is fed to the oscillating actuator 41 provided inside the piston 26 of the fluid pressure cylinder 22, the movable plate 16 attached to the output shaft 43, i.e. the piston rod 27 of the fluid pressure cylinder 22 is rotatively oscillated to the fixed plate 10, so that connection of a pipe line can be automatically switched by a U-shaped connecting pipe 17a attached to the movable plate 16.
