Dielectric ceramic composition of barium oxide, titanium dioxide, neodymium oxide, samarium oxide and aluminum oxide.

PURPOSE:To improve specific dielectric constant, Q-value and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of dielectric porcelain by specifying composing ratio of a composition comprising BaO, TiO2, Nd2O3, Sm2O3 and Al2O3. CONSTITUTION:In a composition expressed by xBa0-yTi02-z[(1-a)Nd2O3-aSm2O3], each component is weighed so as to have a molar ratio satisfying 0.10=x=0.20, 0.60=y=0.75, 0.10=z=0.25, x+y+z=1 and 0a=0.50 and pure water is added, then resultant system is wet-mixed, thus calcined at about 1000 deg.C. Next, =2.5 pts.wt. Al2O3 is added to 100 pts.wt. said composition and further about 1wt.% binder (e.g. PVA) is added and wet-crushed. Then, resultant system is dried, sieved and granulated, thus molded and burned to afford the aimed dielectric porcelain.
