The invention relates to a tele-tuition system for students wishing to remotely take courses in a desired field. The system is characterized in that it is comprised of a course server station (1), a plurality of student data processing terminals (2) connected to the server (1) by means of transmission lines (5) for transmitting the subject to be taught, and a teacher station (3) connected to the student terminals by means of data transmission lines (5), each student terminal (2) being adapted to converse with the server (1) and with the teacher terminal (3), most conveniently by exchange of electronic mail. The invention is applicable to tele-tuition.
