The system involves producing two parts (2) of required length from a supple cord material. At the respective ends of each part of this cord are moulded male (3) and female (7) plastic parts of an irreversible fastening system. The female part of the fastening system is made from a hollow open piece whose internal wall is fixed to the end of supple legs (10). The other ends of the legs project inwards allowing the supple material to slide in one direction only inside the hollow piece. The hollow piece is axially separated into two semi-cylindrical elements joined by breakable links.
