The invention relates to a macromolecular material with ionic conduction.The material comprises a linear or branched or combed, possibly crosslinked, which carries ionic substituents; the ionic substituents are derived by reacting the group Y, ionic monomers corresponding to the formula (I) M [Y- {O- (CHR) p - (CH2) q} n -C (SO2 RF) 2] m in which M is a cation of valence m; RF is a linear or branched perfluoroalkyl radical having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; Y is an allyl, glycidyl, vinylbenzyl, acryloyl or methacryloyl group or a hydrogen atom; 0 = n = 40, 1 = p + q = 4; if n = 0, Y is an allyl or glycidyl or vinylbenzyl group.Use of the material as an electrolyte in a rechargeable battery or as a binder in a composite electrode.
