Electrical connector for signal transmission in aeronautical or space applications

The electrical connector includes a plug (1) having a screw ring (3) rotating about an axis ( DELTA l) and having a first thread section (311) permitting connection or disconnection of the connector element (1) on a base connector (2). The second connector has a second thread section (202) which is complementary to the first thread section. The first thread section includes an outer ring (30) and nut (31) which are threaded. The nut includes the outer forward shoulder thread section (311) which screws into position on a fixed shoulder (32) on the main connector body. There is a spring (33) between the outer ring and the inner nut section. Thus tightening of the outer ring section is always achieved to the same pressure.
