摘要

The laser guidance system has a generator (1) producing laser light which is modulated (30) and transmitted to a reflective polarised mirror (3). A laser beam is pointed towards the tracked missile (7). The missile has a rear reflector, returning the laser beam. The mirror tracks the returned response by reflecting the returned beam to a fixed reflector (11), then to a focussing lens (14). The beam is focussed onto a four segment detector. Output voltages are transmitted to a processor (28) which computes the missile tracking error, and operates a motor (5) which moves the moving mirror to the tracking position. The operator has an optical telescope (26) which is aligned to the target. Telemetry signals associated with the telescope position are used to determine target range.
