Cellulose-based composite material for three-dimensional modelling

The object is formed from a cellulose-based material impregnated with a cellulose-based adhesive, for example hydrophilic surgical cotton. The adhesive is of the water-soluble type known as wallpaper paste. Water is added to the mass of material impregnated with adhesive, which may then be moulded with the hands to form three-dimensional shapes. The material may be moulded onto a rigid support, or used to form self-supporting models or other shapes. A rigid model is formed after drying of the adhesive.
