Arrow rest for archery bow, can be used by right or left-handed archers

The arrow rest consists of a flat plate (2) which is fixed to the bow, and a tongue (3) which projects from it. The plate and tongue are made in two separate pieces and equipped with connections which allows them to be fitted together and separated, and also allows the tongue to be rotated relative to the plate. The tongue comprises a solid cylindrical rod (17) with pins (18, 19) of smaller diameter at either end, and a triangular body (22) attached to it, and can be clipped onto the plate. The tongue is made from a polyamide resin such as Pebax (RTM), and the plate of an acetal resin (POM) such as Hostaform (RTM) or Delrin (RTM).
