PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience such as misrecording an acceptance number, etc. And enable to perform processing quickly and to save labor, by recognizing the acceptance number reading out from the acceptance number indication sheet and printing a series of acceptance numbers based on the acceptance number onto an each inspection request form in a group. SOLUTION: A collecting rack 51 transported to an inspection center is assigned with a date, etc., at an acceptance work 21 together with an inspection request form 42, then a specimen is moved from the collecting rack to a specimen rack at a sorting work process 22 to sort specimens into a general inspection, and, after that, a special inspection, a collation work 23 between the number of specimens and patient names. Following to that, assigment of an acceptance number and printing of the acceptance number into the inspection request form 42 are carried out. An automatic printer 31 automatically read out the acceptance number from the acceptance number indicating sheet 43 and recognize it, and processes the recognized number as the acceptance number of the inspection request form 42. Then, the given acceptance number and the inspection request information are inputted by OMR 33 into a computer 61 for inspection.
