ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION METHOD IN SITE FOR VALVE WATER WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any strain from being generated on an inside casing and an outside casing located downstream at the time of placing concrete by increasing the rigidity of the inside casing and the outside casing located downstream from a valve water wheel. SOLUTION: After an inside casing 1 and an outside casing 2 are assembled in installation, an inside guide vane ring 3, an outside guide vane ring 4 and a guide vane that are assembled in one body are hung, mutual flanges of the casings 1, 2 are connected together with bolts, furthermore, an outside guide vane ring 4 is supported horizontally by means of pipe jacks 7, and thereafter concrete 8 is placed several times around the outside casing 2 and hardened sequentially. Then, since concrete placing is carried out after increasing the rigidity of the inside casing 1 and the outside casing 2, there is no change of generation of strain.
