A garment in accordance with the invention includes a plurality of sewn together prewashed and shrunk knitted pieces each made from cotton yarn and each having a low residual shrinkage after preworking and shrinking; and at least one woven piece of fabric stitched to the plurality of sewn together knit pieces.
