PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mixing a low viscosity additive into molten polymer uniformly without using a dynamic mixer and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: A mixer, which transfers high viscosity fluid, is equipped with a main pipeline 2a having a mixing unit 1a integrated in a main mixer 1 and a branch pipeline 2b for a split flow which branches off from the main pipeline 2a and flows to the inlet of the main mixer. The main pipeline 2a and the branch pipeline 2b of the main mixer are formed respectively from pipe parts 24, 25 having axes extending in parallel to each other. The mixer is equipped with a pump 3 placed in the branch pipeline 2b, a static auxiliary mixer 5 placed at the end of the branch pipeline 2b, and a nozzle 40 placed in the inlet of the auxiliary mixer 5 to supply low viscosity fluid.
