PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply keep returned ore quantity in a management criteria range over for a long period by adjusting the returned ore blending ratio based on the beforehand obtd. returned blending ratio adjusting quantity in the case the estimated returned ore quantity obtd. from a short period transition of the returned ore is out of the management criteria. ;SOLUTION: The returned ore blending ratio of sintering raw material containing iron ore, returned ore, auxiliary raw material and coke, is adjusted to control the returned ore quantity stored in a returned ore vessel in the management criteria range. At this time, the relations between the returned ore producing changing quantity and the returned ore blending ratio adjusting quantity in each divided period of the latter period, the middle time and the initial period while going back to the adjusting time of the returned ore blending ratio as the basic point, are integrated and beforehand obtd. as a matrix table. The estimated returned ore quantity after a prescribed time, is obtd. from the short period transition of the stored quantity in the returned ore vessel. In the case this estimated returned ore quantity is out of the management criteria, the returned ore blending ratio adjusting quantity is obtd. by collating the returned ore producing variation in each period set with the adjustment of the operational condition with the matrix table.
