PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly recognize a control impossible main cause at a controller side by comparing logical sums from respective controlled systems with an expected value in a controller. ;SOLUTION: A system ID is previously set as against the respective controlled systems 2-1 to 2-n. When the value of n is six, no response CHKo is returned from any one of controlled systems 2-1 to 2-6 to the controller 1 with an input terminal CHK since a state is adopted as the idle one concerning 'zero' as the device ID in a normal state. But response CHKo from the applying controlled system is returned to the controller 1 as against the respective 'one' to 'six' as the device ID. Then, whenever 'zero' to 'six' are successively outputted in order as the device ID, the response CHKo state is monitored and compared with the expected value by the controller 1. Then, 'seven' is outputted as the device ID in order to recognize a terminal end circuit setting state and the corresponding response CHKo state is monitored and compared with the expected value by the controller 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
