PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the CO eliminating catalyst having stabilized and high performance for a long time, which selectively oxidize a small quantity of CO contained in H2 at a low temperature, by carrying at least one kind of Pt, Pd and Ru in a molecular sieve. SOLUTION: This CO eliminating catalyst, which is formed of the molecular sieves having at least one kind of Pt, Pd and Ru, selectively oxidize a small quantity of CO contained in a large quantity of H2 , for example, in the reformed gas, which is obtained by reforming the hydrocarbon group raw material, for elimination. At this stage, the molecular sieves having a small diameter at 0.4mm or less is desirably used, and the metal at 0.1-10% by weight in relation to the molecular sieves is desirably carried. At the time of eliminating the CO in the reformed gas, the reformed gas is desirably passed through the catalyst at 50-150 deg.C at 50000h-1 or less of space velocity with O2 at 0.5 times as many as the quantity of CO.
