SEALED ULTRAPRECISE FINE ADJUSTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the apparatus compact and the structure simple and improve the working efficiency by electrically directly connecting outer electrodes formed on the side face of a piezoelectric element to outer lead terminals. ;SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 1 is sealed in a metal case composed of a metal member and cap 4 having straight body 4b and expandable head 4a at the top of the body 4. Such ultraprecise fine adjuster has outer electrodes 6 formed on the side face of the element 1, outer lead terminals 7 electrically directly connected to the electrodes 6 e.g. such that the outer lead terminal 7 piercing holes 3a of, e.g. the metal member 3 and welded with insulation glass not so as to contact with this member 3 and the top ends of the lead terminals 7 are soldered to the positive and negative outer electrodes 6 of the electrode 1, thus electrically directly connected, without intermediate of lead wires.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
