PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transposed stator winding bar having extended field compensating function in which the loop current can be suppressed furthermore and thereby the temperature gradient pattern can be flattened furthermore. SOLUTION: A conductor strand 1 is transposed by 60-120 deg., preferably by 90 deg., at the opposite end clip parts and transposed incompletely at an active part section 6. More specifically, transposition at the active part section 6 is uniform and smaller than 360 deg. or when a complete transposition of 360 deg. is present at the active part section 6, a cavity 8, i.e., an untransposed section, is provided in the center of active part. On the contrary, the active part section 6 is transposed uniformly by 180 deg. on the outside of untransposed section, i.e., a cavity 8.
