PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and maintenance property by fitting an electrode ring and a lamp holder abundant in durability to a coupling tube for coupling and connecting the upper and lower sections of an illuminated hand piece illuminated with the illumination light from the tip of the hand piece. ;SOLUTION: A hand piece lower section 2 and a coupling tube 3 inserted into it are provided, and a lamp holder 6 is coupled with the base section of the coupling tube 3. A hand piece upper section 1 provided with an illumination port 13, a water spray port 40, and an air spray port 41 at the tip is coupled with the coupling tube 3. The coupling tube 3 is pressed while being rotated against the hand piece upper section 1, the pressing projection 15 of the hand piece upper section 1 is matched with a coupling recess on the back face side of the lamp unit 7 of the lamp holder 6 coupled with the hand piece lower section 2, and the hand piece upper and lower sections 1, 2 are assembled while a seat ring spring is compressed. The electrode pin 8 of the lamp unit 7 is kept in contact with an electrode ring provided on the hand piece lower section 1 side, and a lamp is turned on.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
