SYSTEM TEST SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR SOFTWARE AND TEST SCENARIO GENERATOR TO BE USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute the system test of software of a graphical user interface(GUI) base, to prevent the contents of the test from being omitted and to enable test design even without completing the mount of the software. SOLUTION: The test scenario generating means 4 is provided for generating a test scenario according to a structure specification file 1, state transition specification file 2 and individual state specification file 3 which are defined by a user in order to exactly expressing the software accompanying a GUI. Then, since the test scenario required for covering all the states and all the state transitions provided for the GUI part of this software is generated while using this state transition specification file 2, the test scenario is automatically generated only with necessity for the user to define the specification information of the software, and it is made not necessary to manually actually operate a mouse or a keyboard and to record the history of operations in advance.
