METHOD FOR ENTRY TO CONFERENCE SERVICE OF NETWORK-BASED MULTIMEDIA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference system basing a network for easily guiding participants in a video conference who are present in a different place to an electronic conference room environment. SOLUTION: A graphical multimedia user interface(GMUI) allows participants in a conference to think that the visual points of users enter an actual conference room by using an actual conference metaphor. Especially, this GMUI places the participants (users) in the conference outside the conference room at first, applies intuition to the users that they enter an opened door when the confirmation of the users succeeds, and then presents display for allowing the users to come to the table of the conference at last. Thus, the GMUI urges an event necessary for intuitively performing access to the virtual conference to the users. The gain of this GMUI is that the metaphor is completely used for the actual conference room, and such simple usage is urged.
