PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a large-sized composite raw material requiring high dimensional accuracy by placing a film of an ionization-polymerizable adhesive resin between a skin layer and a panel. ;SOLUTION: A central core 2 with a uniform thickness which is formed into a structure with a honeycomb-like deep cavity with an appropriate thickness is provided and the structure is brought into contact with both side faces of skin layers 3 and 4 made of a composite material. Then, an adhesive film is placed between the honeycomb 2 and the top skin layer 4. Thereafter, after sandwiches 2, 3 and 4 are compressed under vacuum for several hours, the unit is placed under vacuum and ionized polymn. is applied by means of X-rays or electric shock. The resin becomes rigid from the beginning of this polymn. process and does not reach an actual fluid fluidized condition which an ordinary thermal polymn. can reach.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
