PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a pattern or a washed-out surface on the surface of a concrete product by setting a mortar composition and washing the hardened surface. ;SOLUTION: The pattern or the washed-out surface is formed on the surface of the concrete product by using a polyester as a cement hardening retarder, in which its main chain is obtained by the reaction of a polyvalent carbonic acid component containing a 2-6C polyvalent carbonic acid with a polyol component containing a 2-4C polyvalent alcohol or its condensed product to suppress the hardening of the cement. The unsaturated polyester can be used as a polymerizable composition containing a polymerization initiator and a polymerizable vinyl monomer, etc. The hardening retarder may be a granular body as a cured body of the unsaturated polyester. The composition containing the hardening retarder and an adhesive agent is coated on a base sheet or impregnated thereinto, thus the hardening delaying sheet may be formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
