ADHESIVE FOR BRANCHED PART MOLD IN CABLE HAVING BRANCHED PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive prepared by dissolving a chloroprene rubber, a curing accelerator, an age resister and a curing agent with a solvent, and useful for adhering a sheath with a mold in a trunk line cable at the connecting part of the cable having a branch. ;SOLUTION: This adhesive for a branched part mold in a cable having a branch is obtained by dissolving and dispersing (A) a chloroprene rubber, (B) a curing accelerator, (C) an aging resister and (D) a curing agent with a solvent. For example, 20-80 pts.wt. p-t-butylphenol resin, 300-430 pts.wt. cyclohexane based on 100 pts.wt. component (A) are blended with magnesium oxide and an aromatic amine. The coating thickness of the adhesive agent is preferably 0.5-2.0mm. Also, the adhesive can be obtained by blending (E) an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer with (F) a paraffin wax and (G) a tackiness imparting agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
