PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted image ophthalmoscopic contact lens device by which a wide visual field can be obtained and surface reflection can be reduced by constituting a contact lens as a composite contact lens by joining a front lens part and a rear lens part formed of raw materials having respectively different refractive indexes and Abbe values. SOLUTION: An inverted image ophthalmoscopic contact lens device 10 contains a composite contact lens element 12 and an image forming lens 14 installed in a housing 16 having a truncated cone-shaped part 18 having first and second opening ends 20 and 22, and a composite lens element containing a rear lens part 24 joined to a front lens part 26 is used as the lens element 12. The rear lens part 24 is composed of a raw material having a first refractive index and an Abbe value, and has a rear concave surface 28 having curvature corresponding to a curved surface of the average cornea, and can be placed on an eye of a patient. On the other hand, the front lens part 26 is composed of a raw material having a second refractive index and an Abbe value, and has a second rear lens surface 32 and a second front lens surface 34 of a convex shape.
