PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a pipe joint with a pipe more firmly, and surely prevent gas from leaking even if the pipe joint comes out of its joining with a pipe. ;SOLUTION: When the under ground is fluctuated to a great extent because of earthquakes and the like, even if a water service pipe 10a is slid to the direction parting from an elbow 20, and comes out of its joining with the elbow 20, the water service pipe 10a still remains in the inside of the aseismic reinforcing cover 60, and its pressure contact is maintained by a sealing member 65, so that airtightness for a junction point between the water service pipe 10a and the elbow 20 is thereby maintained. Furthermore, since the ainti-seismic reinforcing cover 60 is provided with flexibility, even if the water service pipe (or internal supply pipe) 10a and the elbow 20 are subjected to bending stress other than a pipe axial direction, the aseismic reinforcing cover 60 will follow up the aforesaid bending stress to some extent so as to be deformed for keeping them airtight, and gas can thereby be surely prevented from leaking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
